We were concerned about losing older pages and downloads during the move. Starkedge started by listing what needed to be transferred and flagging anything that would need manual attention. That gave our team a clear review task instead of asking us to check the whole website from memory at the end.
We wanted to move to Squarespace while keeping the parts of our existing design that people recognised. The team was honest about which layouts could be recreated closely and which would need adjustment. Seeing those differences before the migration helped us make decisions without holding up the final review.
The old website had links in brochures and emails, so URL changes were a real concern. They shared a mapping of the old pages to the proposed new addresses and explained the redirects. I could check the important links myself, which made the migration easier to review from our side.
There was more content on our old site than we'd realised. The migration review helped us separate pages we still needed from material that was out of date. We had to supply a few missing files, but the outstanding items were recorded clearly and I knew what was waiting on us.
I appreciated having a specific plan for the changeover. We knew when to stop editing the old site, what needed approval, and who was handling the domain settings. The team also explained which checks would happen after the switch, so the launch felt organised rather than being a single unexplained technical step.
