Moving from WordPress felt like a good opportunity to tidy the site, but we didn't want to lose useful content in the process. Starkedge prepared an inventory and helped us identify what needed transferring, rewriting, or retiring. That gave our team a clear set of decisions before the Webflow rebuild started.
Our Squarespace site had a visual style we wanted to keep. They explained which parts could be recreated closely in Webflow and showed us the areas where a different approach made sense. Having those conversations before the final build avoided surprises when we came to review the new pages.
We had old campaign links pointing to the Wix site, so the URL changes needed care. They put the existing addresses and proposed destinations into a list we could check. I found that much more reassuring than a general promise about redirects, because our team could review the links that mattered most.
The content transfer included older images and downloadable files that weren't all stored together. The missing items were flagged clearly, and I knew what I needed to send over. We had time to check the migrated pages for formatting and attachments before the domain change, which made that review less rushed.
I needed to coordinate the move around other people updating the website. The launch plan explained when edits should pause, who would approve the rebuilt pages, and what checks were planned after the switch. That level of organisation helped me communicate the change internally without having to interpret the technical steps myself.
